Giovanna Chevis

Hi! I’m Giovanna, but everyone calls me Gi. I was born and raised in Brazil. I grew up playing different sports, such as volleyball, tennis, Muay Thai, soccer, and also going to the gym. I got my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2017 and I worked in the field for about 4 years, but when I moved to the U.S., I wanted to try different sports and learn new things. That’s when I started working out at Celebration CrossFit. I didn’t know this would personally and professionally impact my life the way it did. I got the desire to help others, change my career path, and become a coach. I then changed my major to Kinesiology at UCF, took the CF-L1 course, and started coaching. It’s been an incredible journey. Being the one who coaches new athletes in the “OnRamp program” gives me the opportunity to teach them the basics, and watch them from the very beginning. It is amazing to see their progress, and see them doing things we scaled in the OnRamp sessions!
